BARC Week 16: Flipkart enters Top 10 Brands

Lizol and HUL led Top 10 Brands and Top 10 Advertisers respectively

Lizol took over Harpic 10x to lead BARC’s Top 10 Brands for Week 16 (April 14-20, 2018) with 16,500 insertions. Meanwhile, the latter slipped to the fifth spot with 10,101 insertions. Airtel 4G and Trivago climbed up to the second and third spot with 13,380 and 10,633 insertions.

Flipkart entered the category at the fourth spot with 10,400 insertions, while Dettol Toilet Soaps held on to its sixth spot with 9871 insertions.

Honda Activa5G forayed in the category at seventh position with 9705 insertions. Kalyan Jewellers slipped to the eighth spot with 9677 insertions.

VideoconD2H is another player which entered the list at the ninth spot with 9138 insertions. On the other hand, Dettol Antiseptic Liquid further slipped to the tenth spot with 9047 insertions.

In the same week in BARC's Top 10 Advertisers, FMCG brands Hindustan Lever dethroned Reckitt Benckiser to lead the category with 1,27,447 insertions. The latter slipped to the second spot with 1,13,683 insertions.

Cadbury India and ITC Ltd retained its third and fourth spots with improved 35,792 and 31,653 insertions respectively.

Colgate Palmolive moved up to the fifth category with reduced insertions of 19,796 insertions. Procter and Gamble retained its sixth spot with 18,843 insertions. Meanwhile, Godrej Consumer Products slipped to the seventh spot with 18,787 insertions. Brooke Bond Lipton India retained its eighth spot with improved 18,598 insertions.

Marico climbed up to the ninth spot with 17,448 insertions and Patanjali Ayurved came back at the tenth spot after a brief hiatus with 16,539 insertions.
