On Sunday, the fervour was at an all-time high as India thrashed Pakistan in the Asia Cup by nine wickets, making it its fourth straight win in the tournament. India's stellar performance in the series was celebrated on Twitter, with the match generating 159K tweets and counting.

The performance of batsmen Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan was lauded as the two helped India successfully chase the target of 236 runs against Pakistan with 63 balls to spare. Both Dhawan and Sharma completed centuries, making it another talking point on social media.
