Sony Sab maintains lead position in week 10: BARC India
Dangal leads across urban+rural and in rural markets
As per the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India data of week 10, Dangal continued to lead the Hindi GEC (U+R) segment with 1177772 (000s) impressions followed by Sony Sab on the second position with 714792 (000s) impressions and Star Plus on the third spot with 631759 (000s) impressions. Zee TV and Colors bagged fourth and the fifth spots with 604936 (000s) and 599507 (000s) impressions respectively.
Dangal’s Baba Aiso Var Dhundo is the leading show in week 10 with 15793 (000s) impressions followed by other show on the same channel, Devi Adi Parashakti 14756 (000s) and Zee TV’s primetime show Kundali Bhagya bags the third spot with 14647 (000s) impressions. Dangal’s two shows Mahima Shanidev Ki and Bandini bagged fourth and fifth spots with 14570 and 13202 (000s) impressions respectively.
In the Hindi-speaking market (HSM) (U+R) among the pay platforms, Sony Sab continued to lead the top ten channels list. It registered 712995 (000s) weekly impressions followed Star Plus on the second slot with 629989 (000s) impressions and Zee TV on the third spot with 602942 (000s) impressions. Colors and Sony Entertainment Television grabbed fourth and fifth spots with 597804 (000s) and 501224 (000s) respectively.
In top five programmes category, Zee TV’s primetime show Kundali Bhagya bagged the first slot with 14600 (000s) impressions followed by Kumkum Bhagya on the second spot with 12739 (000s) and Colors’ Fear Factor- Khatro Ke Khiladi on the third spot with 10903 (000s) impressions.
Sony Entertainment Television’s India’s Best Dancer bagged the fourth spot with 9802 (000s) meanwhile Sony Sab’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma stood at number five with 9481 (000s) impressions.
In the urban market
This week, Sony Sab maintained its top slot with 517066 (000s) impressions followed by Star Plus on the second position with 430145 (000s) weekly impressions. Colors and Sony Entertainment Television bagged the third and fourth spots with 423870 (000s) and 372457 (000s) impressions respectively. Zee TV stood at the fifth spot with 344712 (000s) impressions.
In the top five programmes, ZeeTV’s Kundali Bhagya bagged the top slot with 8561 (000s) impressions followed by Colors’ Fear Factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi on the second spot with 7977 (000s) impressions and Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya on third with 7222 (000s) impressions.
Sony Entertainment Television’s India Best Dancer bagged the fourth spot with 7135 (000s) impressions whereas Sab TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma bagged the fifth spot with 6874 (000s) impressions.
In the rural market
In the rural market, Dangal TV led the top ten channel list with 903990 (000s) impressions followed by Big Magic on the second position with 382738 (000s) impressions and Zee TV on the third spot with 260224 (000s) impressions. Star Plus and Sony Sab bagged the fourth and fifth spot with 201613 (000s) and 197726 (000s) impressions respectively.
In the top five programmes, all the slots were bagged by Dangal TV’s shows. Baba Aisa Var Dhundo is the number one show with 12261 (000s) impressions followed by Devi Adi Parashakti on second with 11923 (000s), Mahima Shanidev Ki on third with 11581 (000s) impressions. Bandini and Pyaar Ki Luka Chhupi are in fourth and fifth spot with 10656 (000s) and 8277 (000s) impressions respectively.
