In the Bill, government has proposed that every cable and satellite broadcasting network operator shall transmit or re-transmit programmes in an encrypted form through a digital addressable system
No one shall be allowed to broadcast a programme without the license from copyright owners, states the draft
Earlier, the MIB had granted time till December 9, 2023 to the general public or stakeholders to submit their suggestions or comments on the bill
