AJIO.com connects with youth through its #DressedToGig campaign
The campaign asked youngsters to dress up for a party, click a picture, and upload it on Instagram using #DressedToGig to win a chance to party at the biggest EDM festival in Belgium.
Youth in India is becoming more aware and fashion forward. AJIO.com’s latest #DressedToGig was an attempt by the brand to connect with this expanding consumer base and establish itself as a young, fun and youthful brand.
The younger crowd in the country loves to party and what they love even more is to dress up for that party and show off their own sense of style. This became the basis of the campaign. The steps for participating in the campaign were simple. Get dressed for a gig. Click a picture. Upload on Instagram using #DressedToGig and tag @AJIOLife. Participants had to be between 18 and 24 years of age. The grand prize was a chance for two winners to party at the biggest EDM (Electronic Dance Music) festival in Belgium with one of their besties!
This was all that was required to get the youngsters clicking and posting away. But that was not all. Exclusive discount coupons were sent not only to the participants but also to those who engaged with the campaign through ‘likes’, ‘shares’ and ‘comments’. Redeeming these coupons and posting another picture meant increased chances of winning.
