BBC and Radio Misty have jointly organised ‘BBC Ek Mulakat live with Kiran Bedi’ on August 7, 2010, in Siliguri. This is the first time that ‘BBC Ek Mulakat’ is being held live in this region. The live show will be hosted by Rupa Jha. ‘BBC Ek Mulakat’ is aired every Sunday at 4 pm on Radio Misty.

Colors has announced the return of its flagship reality show Garnier Men Deodorant presents ‘Fear Factor – Khatron Ke Khiladi x 3’. The show will be hosted by Priyanka Chopra this time, who will give various dangerous tasks to the 13 daredevils on the show. The destination this year is Brazil. The third season of the show is scheduled to go on air in September 2010.

The Nagar Parishad Rewari, Haryana, has invited sealed tenders from interested parties offering ad rights on a wide range of outdoor media properties, including unipoles and kiosks, at different locations. The contract is for a period of three years. The minimum reserve price specified is Rs 5.364 crore.

The Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation (CBE) Ltd has invited bids under the ‘two-packet’ system for licensing out rights for display of ads on its buses numbering approximately 770. The contract will be awarded for a period of 11 months. The EMD required is Rs 5 lakh.

Coca Cola India, that had initiated a review of its media duties last month, has decided on its media AoR. In the wake of a multi-agency pitch, the business has been awarded to Lodestar UM. The development breaks the 11-year old relation that Coca Cola had with Madison Media. Industry sources peg the business upwards of Rs 200 crore. Coca Cola officials have confirmed the development to exchange4media.

In his new role, he will continue working with the Sales and Market Development (SMD) team and will be heading circulation for the Mumbai edition. He was previously General Manager, SMD at DNA. He will be reporting to KU Rao, CEO, DNA.
