Coke, McCann sweep Dainik Bhaskar Indian Marketing Awards

At a glittering ceremony in the Capital on Wednesday, Coke and McCann Erickson swept a number of honours at the Dainik Bhaskar Indian Marketing Awards 2004. In the individual categories, Prannoy Roy of NDTV was crowned as the Media Person of the Year, Harit Nagpal of Hutch bagged the Marketing Person of the Year award and Sam Balsara of Madison walked away with the honour for the Media Services Person of the Year.

The Dainik Bhaskar Indian Marketing Awards has evoked overwhelming response from the marketing, advertising and media fraternity of the country. Following a flood of requests from participants for more time to submit entries, the awards organising committee has decided to extend the last date for entries to September 14. Consequently, the award ceremony will now be held on October 6.

Dainik Bhaskar spreads wings with new publications

The Dainik Bhaskar group seems to be on an expansion spree. After Baroda edition, the group announced the launch of its Bhilwara edition from August 18. Added to this, New Era Publications – a Dainik Bhaskar Group venture, is also coming up with a Hindi family magazine, ‘Aha! Zindagi’. The first issue for September 2004 will be on stands by August end.
