My FM initiates its new activation wing My Connect

My FM has launched My Connect, its activation arm, to strengthen its on-ground connects. Although the media house has been doing sales activations earlier as well, it is now making its offering more professional with a newly set up team under the leadership of Satyen Purandare.

DB Corp Pvt Ltd has further strengthened its activation with My Connect, which will focus on offering clients engagement and amplification solution to augment their brand communication. My Connect will also work on versatility, complete and measurable solutions in ensuring an immersive, interactive and experiential integrated marketing plan applicable to activations, corporate events, conventions, product launches, road shows, concerts as well as My FM properties such as My Ashiyana.

Talking about this development, Harrish M Bhatia, Chief Executive Officer, 94.3 My FM, said, “My Connect is a new vertical of DB Corp Ltd, which specialises in providing below the line solutions to existing and new clients. The arm will not only provide relevant and innovative information to the client about the market, but being a part of a large media group, will amplify each and every activity to an enormous scale for a better response.”

He further said, “We have a dedicated team in each of our markets, which will be over all headed by Satyen Purandare. We have hired quality people who understand this business and they have a proven track record. As and when the revenues start to trickle in, we will increase the size of the team. We are also present in Mumbai and Delhi apart from being there at our stations.”

Satyen Purandare, Head of My Connect, elaborated, “We as a radio company have been doing events and activations in the past also. I feel that we were lacking the focus that it needed. Activations has great potential in Tier II and Tier III cities in which My FM is present. By having a focused activations company along with radio and print synergy we will be able to offer 360 degree solutions to our advertisers. All the companies are spending heavily on BTL in these markets as they feel that the growth now will come from smaller cities. I feel that activations has a potential of being a substantial revenue stream.”

My Connect recently undertook projects such as the property fair at Indore and Bhopal. The next fair is planned at Chandigarh in the third week of October. Apart from My Ashiyana, they are also working on projects on Dandiya, Diwali Shopping Carnival, Musical Concerts and other brand activations.
