Bates 141 adds Uveda brand to its Dabur portfolio

Following its foray in the fairness cream market, Dabur has assigned the creative duties of its newly launched brand, Uveda, to Bates 141. Bates 141 will be handling the creative mandate for Uveda, along with the already existing brands of Dabur in its kitty. Jayanto Banerjee, EVP, Bates 141, has confirmed the development.

Following its foray in the fairness cream market, Dabur has assigned the creative duties of its newly launched brand, Uveda, to Bates 141. Bates 141 will be handling the creative mandate for Uveda, along with the already existing brands of Dabur in its kitty, which include, Gulabari and Dabur Lal Dant Manjan and Red Toothpaste. Jayanto Banerjee, EVP, Bates 141, has confirmed the development.

Speaking to exchange4media.com, Banerjee said, “We have been working on brand Uveda for the last two and a half years since the time of its inception.”

The communication mix will have both ATL and BTL activities, including mediums as print, television and outdoor. A TVC is set to launch seen.

Having carved a distinct niche for itself in the world of Ayurveda for last 125 years, Dabur India Ltd has made a strategic foray into the premium skincare market by launching brand Dabur Uveda. Actress Vidya Balan’ has been roped in as the face of Brand Uveda.

Recently, Dabur had re-aligned the creative mandate for its hair care business, where it brought in Pickle Advertising and Ogilvy’s third agency, David, to handle Vatika root strengthening and henna cream conditioning shampoos and Total Protect health shampoo, respectively.
