Brands across various categories celebrated International Father’s Day on June 12 with heartfelt tributes to dads worldwide, especially Manforce's and Zepto's standout campaigns. Celebrity-led ads caught our attention, featuring big names for brands like Bumble, Vicks, and Titan.
Last week, we featured best ads by brands like Swiggy, Fevicol, Vi, Bisleri and Fortune. This week, we spotlight adverts by Bumble, Maggi, Manforce, Oyo, Titan and Vicks. Here are the ads we loved in Week 2 of June.
Bumble
Archies co-stars Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina added a touch of glamour to Bumble’s India-wide integrated ad titled ‘Opening Moves.’ The ad highlights the dating app’s First Move functionality which empowers women with the “first move” option to set a question for their potential matches. The actors showcased their fun chemistry as they bonded over a Q&A session.
Maggi
Maggi’s 2-minute proposition has been synonymous with the brand for decades. Years later, in its latest ad, Maggi repackaged the 2-minute promise into a 2-minute request. The ad beautifully captures the tender moments shared between family members as they get together to make some Maggi noodles. The ad by McCann drives home the message that all it takes is 2 minutes to make beautiful memories with loved ones.

Indian dads have long held the reputation of being stern with their kids, but times are changing and so are parenting styles. Manforce’s Father’s Day ad celebrates this change by showcasing the “cool” side of modern dads.
OYO
OYO has been a victim of bad publicity in the past with memes equating the hospitality company with shady hotels. While the company has boldly embraced its much-memed status in the past, the new ad also pays homage to the numerous OYO jokes that one finds on social media. “The campaign creatively addresses and dispels outdated views of OYO, emphasizing its new focus on versatility,” said the company press release. The ad is by Tanmay Bhat’s Moonshot.
Titan
Alia Bhatt’s ad for Titan Raga raises a toast to universal sisterhood and the virtue of being “Beautiful Together.” The digital film is a heartwarming tale of women standing up for women every day in little ways. The campaign has been created by Ogilvy, Bangalore.
Vicks
Vicks launched its double-power edition with the acting powerhouse and brand ambassador Ranveer Singh. The actor dials up the quirk quotient in the refreshing ad, being the bearer of “badi khabar.”
Zepto
Taking down an unfair stereotype associated with men, Zepto unveiled a Father’s Day ad centred on the idea of expressing feelings without fear. The ad is a poignant tale of a young man presenting a Father’s Day gift he ordered for his dad on Zepto and finally mustering the courage to say “I love you” to him. The ad tugs at the heartstrings and simultaneously challenges that notion that men shouldn’t be expressive.
