GroupM corners maximum shortlisted entries for EMVIES, followed by Lodestar
The EMVIES committee has announced the shortlisted entries that will be a part of the final judging round. A sneak peek shows that the highest number of shortlisted entries is from GroupM, divided between Mindshare with 11 and Maxus with three. Lodestar has cornered the second highest number of shortlisted entries at eight. In total 11 media entities would be competing with each other at the case study presentation round on June 15.
The EMVIES committee has announced the short listed entries, which will make it to the final judging round. A sneak peek shows that that the highest number of short listed entries is from GroupM, divided between Mindshare at 11 and Maxus with three. Lodestar is the second highest with eight short-listed entries. In totality 11 media entities would be competing with each other at the case study presentation round on June 15, 2005.
The other agencies apart from Mindshare, Maxus and Lodestar are Starcom, Madison Media, Mediacom, Carat Media, O&M and rmg David. Amongst the media marketers, the short listed entries are from Living Media and Sony Entertainment television.
Commenting on the judging and the expectations, Apurva Purohit, Chairperson, EMVIES says, “We want to encourage students and young media planners to come to the case study presentations. Irrespective of the awards these entries get, these are the top 30 of 260 off entries we received and that, is saying something about these entries.”
EMVIES had received over 260 entries this year. The first round of judging, which led to this shortlist, took place on June 3, 2005 with 36 judges at the helm of affairs. The final judging round, where agencies and media houses present their case studies will be adjudged by two panels of judges with five in each panel.
