This father’s day will see the launch of a unique and extensive social media campaign from the leading international doughnuts major Krispy Kreme. This will come as an extension to Krispy Kreme digital media strategy to create doughnut eating occasion for consumers.
Frog Walks Out (a leading digital creative agency specializing in digital engagement, mobile apps and web development) handles the social media mandate for Krispy Kreme. They believe that father’s day is a unique occasion for children to connect and greet their fathers especially when they are staying far away from each other. The power of the digital media helps bridge these distances- better still, if a dose of sweetness can be added to it! So, the agency decided to call this campaign Say It With A Doughnut.
They have created a Facebook app on Krispy Kreme India page to achieve this. Anyone who logs into the application is asked to enter a 15 character message and their address. These messages will be imprinted on the doughnuts. After online payment, Krispy Kreme will send this special pack of doughnuts to the address provided by the user. The orders will be delivered between 13th to 15th June. The agency hopes that, by providing the customers reasons to connect with Krispy Kreme through this happy occasion, this social media campaign will generate high visibility for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
