Indie music and sub-culture channel Pepsi MTV Indies was launched on February 20, 2014 with an all-star music jam featuring some of the biggest names from the Indian independent scene.
Pepsi and MTV India have joined hands to launch this channel. The channel will be available on television in High Definition and Dolby 5.1 surround sound across leading DTH and digital cable platforms. It will also have online presence via a website. Besides, an Indie music discovery app has been created, which is accessible across all Android and iOS platforms.

The launch of Pepsi MTV Indies showcased previews to all four platforms that make up Pepsi MTV Indies – mobile, web, TV and live.
