Brands make the most of excitement around Baahubali actor Prabhas’ Saaho
Celio, PayZapp, Arctic Fox and Croma are some of the brands that have partnered with the extravagant crime thriller
Baahubali actor Prabhas-starrer Saaho is running in theatres with mixed reviews. The movie, which is directed by Sujeeth, is made on a budget of a whopping Rs 350 crore. The movie was released on August 30 in 10,000 screens across India. The film is available in four languages namely Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.
The film has an ensemble cast, including Shraddha Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay and Murali Sharma. Being Prabhas’ first film after the very popular Baahubali series, Saaho has been able to create much buzz. The first look poster and the teaser of the movie has garnered millions of views, likes and shares on social media platforms. The #ShadesOfSaaho video series that captured behind-the-scene incidents has garnered 54+ million reach within 24 hours of its release. The second video from the series also garnered 79+million reach within 24 hours of the post.
The teaser of the movie which was released in the month of June garnered 60+ million digital views across all languages within 24 hours of the post. A game based on the film and GIFs were also released in the run-up to the film release. Saaho also became the first Telugu movie to get a Twitter emoji.

Mobile payment solution PayZapp offered by HDFC Bank is the brand partner of Saaho. HDFC is offering cashback on booking tickets using the PayZapp app on Book My Show.
Arctic Fox
Arctic Fox, which a lifestyle brand for the youth, too is associated with Saaho. The brand released Saaho anti-theft backpacks with features such as an inbuilt alarm that sounds if anyone other than the owner tries to open it.
Croma
Indian retail chain for consumer durables and electronics has also associated with Saaho. They were running a competition on their social media handles, urging viewers to watch the Saaho trailer and share their favourite dialogue with Croma.

The extravagant crime thriller is raking in crores at the box office both in India and overseas. According to the film’s official Instagram handle, Saaho has raked in Rs 294+ crore worldwide. The Hindi version of the film has earned Rs 74 crore during the opening weekend. According to reports, the digital streaming rights of the movie is bagged by Amazon for Rs 40 crore. The music rights of Saaho has been bagged by T- Series for Rs 30 crore.
