How does your work day look like?
A normal work day will involve me waking up to my phone ringing, not an alarm, but a client. I usually handle about 100 to 150 calls a day. The calls start coming in even before I reach my office, and they start off about either new ads or old ones or new events or a release, it keeps going on from there.

What excites you the most about your work?
I am a very social person; my colleagues call me ‘Busy Bee’ because I’m always on the phone. I absolutely love talking to people and I find this right up my alley.

What is the one thing that you love to do apart from your daily work?
A day that involves music, my family, my dog, my friends and shopping…

Which is the one project that you are proud to have associated with?
Every project that I have been a part of will always be close to my heart, but every time I finish a project I strive to make the next one better.

What is your life’s philosophy towards work?
If you don’t love what you’re doing, then it’s not worth doing in the first place.

Do you believe in working towards awards or creating an award winning project?
Yes, I do believe in working towards a specific goal. It need not be an award, for me it is the job satisfaction. I find that good competition always makes me work harder.

Who is that one person whom you look up to?
Any day it would be my parents. Both my father and my mother have always been a great support personally and professionally. How they juggle work and home and all the other activities is beyond thinking. That’s one thing that I am trying to excel in.

Brand that you love the most and would like to be a part of …
Cadbury – this is a brand that always fascinates me. One, because of the product itself (I am a foodie). Also because it is one company that is always striving for the better, be it their campaigns, product line or positioning of the products. It has a direct connect with people’s emotions.

If you wouldn’t have been where you are, what would you think you would be doing?
Definitely a production house, working for a live TV show. I have been a part of one, and the tension and energy there is just so infectious.

Where do you see yourself five years down the line?
In five years, I see myself move up the ladder and taking up a more demanding role. From servicing, I would gradually shift to account planning.
