Elephant Strategy+Design, a design practice firm, has announced a strategic expansion with the formation of a new entity, ‘Brand Planet Elephant’, with its first office in Delhi. The new entity, which will commence operations from August 1, aims to offer a host of multi-disciplinary brand solutions for its clients.

Elephant Strategy+Design, a design practice firm, has announced a strategic expansion with the formation of a new entity, ‘Brand Planet Elephant’, with its first office in Delhi. The new entity, which will commence operations from August 1, aims to offer a host of multi-disciplinary brand solutions for its clients.

Brand Planet Elephant has been formed with an equal partnership of Shouvik Roy, ex-hand of Alchemist (the marketing consultancy firm led by Samit Sinha), Anjan Roy, ex-hand of Vyas Gianetti Creative (VGC), and Elephant Strategy Design.

Ashwini Deshpande, Director, Brand Planet Elephant, said, “As founders of the oldest and largest independent design company, we were often asked by our clients and the industry at large as to why we do not offer advertising solutions as well. While entering the advertising space would have been a natural move for us, we believed that we needed to offer services that were more than what the conventional definition of advertising suggested. Brand Planet Elephant is an outcome of getting those specialised skills together in addition to Elephant’s knowledge and experience of brands and design across diverse domains. Brand Planet Elephant will be the new age consulting company that provides communication strategy through focused trans-media solutions.”

The principal aim of Brand Planet Elephant is to offer brands a host of integrated solutions spanning specialist verticals like brand and marketing, advertising, brand and corporate identity development and integrated brand experience – all seamlessly managed and serviced by a single entity.

“Brand ecology is blurring the edges of specialisations. This is so evident in international award programmes like Cannes this year. This blurring is bound to create outfits like Brand Planet Elephant. Brands of tomorrow need simple but world-class ideas that require coming together of such masters.
