Zapak, which has recently launched Zapak Mail, has gone for a 360-degree marketing approach. The online promotional videos have been premiered with exchange4media.com and goes under a theme called ‘Fast Film Festival’. The five videos, created by Tuckbox Films, are essentially spoofs of some English movies.

Commenting on the promotional strategy employed by Zapak, Arun Mehra, CMO, Zapak.com, said, “The idea is to tickle the mind and bring a smile on people’s faces. Moreover, with these creatives, we have tried to move away from the approach taken by all other mail services of talking about their inbox sizes.”

“I think this whacked-out humour in the videos will surely appeal to our TG. We also want to constantly put a smile and extend the campaign,” he added.

When questioned on the connection between the brand and these videos, Mehra observed, “The core propositions of the brand are ‘fast’ and ‘simple’, which even the videos have as its underlying theme.” Speaking on the 360-degree offerings for the brand, he continued, “We are looking at consumer mall and multiplex activation as well. Other forms of experimental marketing are also on the cards.”
