In an official response to the MIB’s TRP Committee report, TAM Media Research has stated that “the report will only take the Indian Media Industry to a newer trajectory of Growth”.
The Committee set up by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting to review the TRP measurement in India submitted its report with 15 key recommendations on January 10, 2011. The Committee recommends self regulation as the way forward.
