LinkedIn launches native advertising network
This new initiative is aimed at advertisers who want to expand their reach beyond LinkedIn newsfeed
LinkedIn has announced, ‘LinkedIn Audience Network’, a native advertising network that enables advertisers to reach out to audiences beyond the LinkedIn newsfeed and place ads on premium, high-quality publishers across mobile and desktop. The network will help marketers target the right audience, expand marketing footprint, deliver on budgets and effectively measure the ROI of their sponsored content campaigns. Additionally, it will provide a brand safe environment by helping marketers regularly monitor their campaign activity, vet publishers and take full control of where their ads appear.
The LinkedIn Audience Network is designed to increase marketing footprint of advertisers beyond the LinkedIn platform so that the campaign reach could be expanded and budget constraints met easily.
According to the professional social networking site, 6,000 participated in their Audience Network beta program. Advertisers have seen have seen a 3-13 per cent increase in unique impressions served, and up to an 80 per cent increase in unique clicks.
