EPIC channel’s elevation to being the country’s only India centric Hindi infotainment channel has definitely proved to be a successful move as the consistently increasing viewership is demonstrating. As per latest BARC data for Week 36, EPIC has steadily risen to being number three in the infotainment genre (megacities, NCCS AB), bettering its number four position from last week.


Positioning itself as the only homegrown Hindi language infotainment channel is also showing results with EPIC channel ranking first in ‘NCCS A’ and second in total universe in HSM Urban markets. The new line-up of shows have garnered interest not just in the press and social media forums but even in the ratings where they have registered several ‘highest evers’ for EPIC. Forerunners for EPIC, these shows have played a major role in usurping an increased share of the infotainment pie.


Mapping the channel’s progress, since its foray in the infotainment genre EPIC has showcased rapid growth, by doubling its viewership in 12 weeks since the launch of its new show.
