Diageo wins 4 metals at Indian Marketing Awards 2023

The exchange4media Group hosted the 10th edition of the Indian Marketing Awards (IMA) on February 2 at Taj Santacruz, Mumbai. The awards night honoured and celebrated the ingenuity and talent of individuals and teams dedicated to pushing the boundaries in the advertising and marketing sphere. At the spectacular awards night, several brands and agencies were recognised for their path-breaking work that has left an indelible mark on the industry.
At the IMA, Diageo bagged 4 metals in total, including 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze metals for their creativity and outstanding work. The brand won gold for its Black & White X Bobble campaign under the ‘Best Use of Sports or eSports Marketing’ category.
Leading the way to bring the ethos of the campaign alive, Black & White X Bobble campaign successfully established a vibrant culture platform, exceeding expectations and effectively engaging the target audience. With the campaign, the brand wanted to associate with the younger audience segment who love quality social life, a good whiskey collection and are open to divisiveness & inclusiveness.
Influencers Kareena Kapoor, Parinitee Chopra, Sushant Digvikar, Hanif Kureshi were roped in to create awareness about the community. The objective was to rekindle a sense of aspiration towards Johnnie Walker's signature brand and establish it as the preferred whiskey of the younger demographic.
The awards night recognised and celebrated the best in the marketing industry and felicitated brands and agencies for their path-breaking works across diverse categories. The Indian Marketing Awards honour organizations, individuals, and teams that have attained remarkable accomplishments through innovative marketing strategies.
This year, the IMA 2023 jury was chaired by CK Venkataraman, Managing Director, Titan Company. The other jury members included industry leaders, seasoned professionals, and renowned personalities from the industry.
