Ranveer Singh who turns 39 today is often counted among the best millennial actors in the country. Known for his bold choices - whether it be the roles he portrays on the celluloid or the flamboyant clothes he wears - he brings his raw enthusiasm into everything he is a part of. The energy bomb that is Singh is also a favourite of brands that want to appeal to the younger demographic.

Ranveer Singh continues to retain the top spot among Bollywood celebrities in terms of brand valuation, as per the Kroll Celebrity Brand Valuation Report 2023. He has been among the top five in this report consistently for the last five years. This report put his current total brand value at USD 203 million, which is twice his brand value in 2020 which was USD 102 million. Not only has he shown a continuous growth as an actor, his brand value has seen a consistent rise in the last few years as marketers have shown trust in his ability to connect with the brands.

Overall, Singh's brand portfolio has an enviable spread of 50 brands from diverse categories like food and beverages, luxury jewelry, travel, men’s wellness and even cosmetics. In fact, he has been endorsing Bold Care, a men’s wellness brand that co-owns SUGAR Cosmetics in which he has invested. While he was the first mainstream actor to endorse a condom brand in 2014, in 2024 he has starred alongside pornstar Johnny Sins in a bid to break yet another taboo.

“The actor being a committed storyteller, who is infamously famous for his entertainment … continues to expand his portfolio and widening his industry wide presence. Additionally, as per our analysis the actor showcases the stability in his endorsement portfolio, with a churn of only 2.9% in his brand portfolio across industries. He is active in the investment side as well and recently he has invested an undisclosed amount in boAt, becoming a key stakeholder in the company,” said the Kroll report about Singh

On the occasion of his birthday, e4m looks at some of the advertisements he has appeared in.
Durex #DoTheRex

Having worked as a copywriter when auditioning for movies, Ranveer doubled up as the copywriter for his first endorsement for Durex condoms. In an interview, he admitted that he had an idea and asked his team to reach out to the brand with the idea. He has written and sung the lyrics that were used in the ad. Many years before Gully Boys associated his name with raps, Ranveer even sang the viral rap for this ad which was received very well.
JACK &JONES
Ranveer went back to being his rapping rockstar self with a 2016 ad for the international fashion brand Jack & Jones, titled ‘Don’t Hold Back’. No wonder that the brand chose him as their first Indian brand ambassador, and he continues to be associated with them whether it is to promote a well-tailored suit look or edgy streetwear.
Make My Trip
Endorsing the travel portal along with Alia Bhatt, Ranveer has had the chance to play various characters, speaking in different accents and donning a whole lot of personas in the advertisements for Make My Trip.
Singh has had an eventful year with a bunch of ads and endorsements that made all the right noises.
