Lee Cooper has recently launched innerwear and eyewear for the first time in India. "The idea behind such launches is to offer a complete head to toe experience to the Lee Cooper customer," Singh said.
With a market share of 8 per cent in the super premium category, Lee Cooper is contemplating to come out with a TVC by the end of this month which will be aired on youth based channels like MTV and Channel V as well as on some popular news channel.
"The concept behind the TVC is to highlight the youthness associated with the brand Lee Cooper. The TVC is very young in nature and speaks a lot about desire and attitude, which we randomly associate with today's Gen Y. The TVC helps in raising the aspirational quotient of the consumers," said Singh.
He added, "The TVC has an international look and feel to it. It looks more like a music video, which are so popular these days with the youth. It has been designed internationally in Lee Cooper UK. The company will be spending around Rs 2 crore on advertising and marketing in this season."
