It's pouring great ads! This week, we shine the spotlight on ads that captured our attention with their innovative approach, creating buzz around the brands they endorsed.

Britannia, Kitkat, Philips and Dollar Industries for their unique ads made it to the best ads for  ads for Week 3 of June. This time, the list has Britannia Little Hearts, Coca-Cola Honest Tea,

Britannia Little Hearts

Crisp, sweet and straight to the heart, we loved Lowe Lintas’ precious little ad for Britannia Little Hearts. The brand is closely tied to 90s nostalgia and true to its name, has always been associated with endearing campaigns. In keeping with its image, the brand’s latest ad ups its cute quotient with cuddly, adorable pups.

Coca-Cola Honest Tea

As part of its #FindYourGood campaign, Honest Tea roped in author Twinkle Khanna for its newest ad. The film focuses on the importance of prioritising relaxation and doing what you think is good for you. In the ad, Khanna is shown going to an exhausting to-do list but kicking back and relaxing with a refreshing bottle of Honest Tea instead. The campaign conceptualised by WPP Open X resonates with every nine-to-fiver who struggles to find some moments of sanity in an otherwise hectic day.

Crocs

Crocs captures the essence of monsoons with a colourful ad for the season. Set to a rendition of Ritviz’s “Barso,” the ad also features cameos by global dance sensation Quickstyle, Shantanu Maheshwari and influencers Ruhee Dosani, Sheetal Perry, and Aakash Thapa. The film is youthful, refreshing and a treat for sore eyes in these dull monsoon days. The film has been conceptualised by Kulfi Collective.

The Sleep Company

There’s something quirky about Jim Sarbh’s declaration of a NASA-level innovation for The Sleep Company’s Smart Recliner Bed. The ad by Steve Priya showcases a bizarre conversation between hosts and guests, over a mattress out of all things. It concludes with Sarbh demonstrating the gravity-defying features of the mattress and its many other features, sufficiently delighting their house guests.

Zupee

Zupee’s epic ad featuring a dizzying entourage of stars made our week with their crazy ad for Ludo. The campaign stars Saif Ali Khan, Sunil Grover, Mouni Roy, Vijay Raaz and Abhay Deol and is rooted in storytelling and humour. Conceptualized and produced by Leo Burnett India, the ad questions the practical utility of “prizes” at the end of each game and how Zupee rewards players with the very useful cash prize.
