Nitin Pai has been appointed Creative Writer and Film Division Head at Lowe Bangalore. Pai reports to Deepa Gita Krishnan, ECD, Lowe. Prior to this, Pai was associated with FCB DraftUlka, Bangalore, as Senior Supervisor over a 11-year-long association. Pai started his career with Leo Burnett in 2002 as a writer. In 2006 he joined FCB Ulka Mumbai. In January 2007 he relocated to FCB Ulka Bangalore.

Pankaj Dubey

Yamaha Motors India has promoted Pankaj Dubey as Division Head. In his new role, Dubey would head the entire country operations of Yamaha Motors, which include sales, customer satisfaction and network development. He had joined Yamaha Motors India in May 2007 to look after the business of North and East India. Dubey has previously worked with Intex Technology as GM-Sales & Marketing for two and a half years. He had also worked with LML for two and a half years as All India Sales Head, and Hero Motors as Assistant GM for North India sales operations. Dubey began his career with Escorts Mahle as Sales Officer in 1994. He worked there till 1999, where his last designation was M4 Manager.

Sameer Suneja

Sameer Suneja has been promoted as the CEO of confectionary company Perfetti Van Melle. Suneja was earlier Head of Sales and Marketing, Perfetti. He will be reporting to Spefano Pelle, VP and COO, Business Unit Russia and South Asia. Suneja had joined Perfetti as Brand Manager in 1997 and since then has played a key role in the company’s growth in India over the years. Prior to joining Perfetti Van Melle, Suneja had stints at Colgate Palmolive as Brand Manager, where he spent a year and a half. He also worked with Frito Lay India as Brand Manager for a year. Suneja has 14 years of experience in sales and marketing.

Our online marketing will, one hopes, some day graduate from the waste of over-dependence on massive overkill (and boredom for readers) to the economies of targeted messaging. We need to re-learn the truths of direct marketing as they are applicable to the Internet. Let us not have to re-invent the wheel.
