Social media specialist Red Digital has been appointed by Godrej to handle their consumer-connect initiative ‘Godrej Power Play’ on social media. Red Digital will help Godrej spread awareness, generate interest and increase consumer engagement for Godrej Power Play across all relevant social media platforms.

Red Digital is currently engaging Godrej’s fans with viral activities such as trivia, games, polls, promotions and contests as well as keeping fans updated on the latest news related to Godrej Power Play. These activities are said to have resulted in the Godrej Power Play fanpage on Facebook experiencing an exponential growth of over 50,000 fans in just two weeks of its launch.

Godrej Power Play brings a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet some of the biggest cricketers in the Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders teams, visit net practices, get autographed merchandise and even tickets to IPL matches. This will help the participant get the name of a cricketer for every distinct product registered along with the value assigned to the cricketer, as well as creating a virtual bank balance. Depending on the real life performances of the players, their values increase, giving the participants a better chance to win. If a participant is not satisfied with a particular cricketer’s performance and wants to exchange him for another, he can do that on the basis of their values.
