Paris Olympics 2024: Brands gun for gold with campaigns and activations
According to those in the know, the Indian Olympic Association has already bagged sponsorship deals from brands worth over Rs 50 crore
Paris Olympics 2024 is all set for a grand inauguration on Friday, July 26. It's not just the athletes and their fans who are looking forward to the sporting extravaganza, but also a whole bunch of brands who have come on board as sponsors.
The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) had already closed sponsorships worth over Rs 50 crore, according to those in the know. Some of the brands include Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Reliance Foundation, Reliance Industries, Adani,
">Aditya Birla Capital, Yes Bank, Amul, INOX Leisure, JSW, Puma and Tasva. Many of them have also released campaigns to motivate the Indian delegates. Let's take a look at some of the campaigns and other on-ground activities for the occasion.

The official footwear partner of the Indian contingent launched a series of billboard ads across the country this month to show their support for the athletes. It features some of the participating athletes on the ground alongside words that describe their abilities in superlative terms.
Reliance Foundation
The organisation has conceptialised the building of the first-ever India House which will introduce visitors to our nation’s rich cultural and sporting heritage. Situated in the iconic Parc de la Villette, which has been designated as the "Park of Nations" during the Games, the India House will be surrounded by 14 other Hospitality Houses in the Park. It will be a space for the participating sportspersons to celebrate their wins along with the visitors. Dream Sports, JSW Group and luxury lifestyle brand Beautiful India are among the partners for the initiative. Situated in the iconic Parc de la Villette, which has been designated as the "Park of Nations" during the Games, the India House will be surrounded by 14 other Hospitality Houses in the Park.

Omega
A brand that takes pride in being the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic and Paralympic Games since 1932, Omega watches got acclaimed French rapper SDM to sing the anthem for their global campaign. It also features a whole lot of athletes who are participating in the Paris Olympics, who are seen practicing their sport in some of the most iconic landmarks of The City of Light. The visuals and the anthem titled “Born to be a legend”, portray a powerful image of athletes pushing their limits.
Tasva
The menswear brand from Aditya Birla Group is the official Ceremonial Dress Partner for Team India, in collaboration with ace designer Tarun Tahilyani. The film features Neeraj Chopra, Olympic gold medalist, Sharath Kamal, the flag bearer of team India at the Paris Olympics’24 and Manpreet Singh, former captain of Indian Hockey Team and Olympic bronze medalist. The ceremonial traditional outfit designed for the team is also showcased in details in the advert.

Duroflex
The mattress brand has launched a new campaign in the light of upcoming Olympics to extend their support to the athletes of Inspire Institute of Sports (IIS) as they compete on the international stage. Featuring medal aspirants Jeswin Aldrin and Praveen Chithravel, the ad brings to light the importance of rest and repair for the body of athletes.
JSW Group
The group reused it's very successful tagline ‘Rukna Nahi Hai’ in the two-minute film that features several Indian athletes including golden boy Neeraj Chopra. It presents the differing reactions from people on wins and losses of the sportspersons, underlining that the most important thing is to go back to practice the next day irrespective of the reactions or results.
