New age startup MotoMojo which is a first of its kind hyperlocal platform for discovering service centres and garages has raised an undisclosed amount of angel funding from Ventes Avenues.
Niloufer Dundh, Fauzan. A. Rahim and Balamurugan Mani, the three cofounders of Ventes Avenues, have invested in Moto Mojo in their personal capacity.
The MotoMojo which started operations in March 2016 has been making quick progress and is getting rave reviews from its customers for the transparency in pricing and quality of service that is being provided.
MotoMojo currently offers services across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane and helps connect customers with reliable and trust worthy garages at affordable prices. With a strong network of over 2500 garages across the city, MotoMojo offers one click booking using the app and also ensures convenience through their “ pick up and drop” services that a customer would truly value. In addition, MotoMojo has an inhouse team of experts to help a customer choose the services that are ideal and thus aid in decision making.
Uttam Arjun, the founder of MotoMojo believes that the largely fragmented market of automobile servicing is in dire need of a solution like MotoMojo since the true idea of a reliable service is lost once the sale or purchase of the vehicle is completed.
Ventes Avenues – Niloufer Dundh Co-Founder said that Ventes avenues partner with startups to help them grow & monetize their inventory, keeping our premise in mind we see huge potential in the auto garage service space, when we met Uttam & team we found that we had synergies at various levels; therefore by investing in them we feel we will be able to best leverage our potential to nurture & grow this startup.
With a host of service providers catering to regular servicing/maintenance of 2 wheelers/4 wheelers, car wash, denting ,polishing and painting apart from emergency services like towing and puncture care, MotoMojo is looking at tapping into this huge market of 192 million vehicles and is set to scale up exponentially.
Uttam, who has earlier worked with FMCG giants such as Hindustan Unilever and Godrej, believes that the customer today is largely disgruntled with the levels of service offered and also the price points and this is where MotoMojo is poised to help a customer discover great service. The app which is available on Google Play is already closing in on nearly 1000 users within the first few days of launching and largely through word of mouth.
With this angel round of funding MotoMojo will look at ramping up the product capabilities, marketing and also building onground support to build excellent customer service.
In the next couple of months, MotoMojo will build a service that will create a sustainable business and help customers discover what true service means. The startup has plans to scale up its services across major metros in India over a period of time.
With services such as a door-step Eco Friendly car wash at just Rs.99, this sure looks like a start up that’s set to go places.
