Olive retains Greenply’s digital biz
Greenply had called for a pitch for its digital business in October 2011.
Greenply has re-appointed Olive as its digital partner for 2012, after a pitch that took place in the month of October 2011. One of the prime reasons behind Olive winning the account is the long-standing association between the two companies. Olive has also been associated with the digital activities of Greenlam, a brand owned by Greenply Industries.
As a part of the initial activities, Olive has already launched a campaign-cum contest through a microsite www.alwayshoyenga.com and is managing Facebook and other Social Media Platforms for Greenply and going by what the spokespersons from the brands say, Greenply and Olive together plan to take on the digital sphere with a very aggressive strategy in 2012.
“Digital medium has acquired an all new importance, given the changing temperaments today and therefore we have sketched out a very aggressive digital plan with Olive. What you see now is just the tip of the iceberg. What we have in store for you for 2012 is nothing short of a blockbuster,” said Alex Joseph, Vice President Marketing, Greenply Industries.
“We marked the beginning of this new alliance by successfully launching the Always Hoyenga campaign online in record time. Always Hoyenga is a thought through marketing strategy wrapped around the TVC. We extended this concept to give it the right digital tenor,” explained Dipin Kapur, Director, Olive e-Business.
