Disney Star, who were the official broadcasters of the T20 World Cup which concluded last month with India emerging as world champions, has recorded a 25% growth in viewership for its show ‘Cricket Live’, broadcast on Star Sports during the tournament.

“Star Sports is thrilled with the exceptional growth of 25% in viewership of ‘Cricket Live’ during the recent T20 World Cup 2024. Our focused strategy and innovative approach have not only set new revenue opportunities but have also delivered exceptional value to our sponsors.

“We are proud to be the destination for cricket enthusiasts, delivering world-class commentary, expert analysis, and unparalleled live action. The show's high engagement and viewership have translated into an average of over 10x ROI for our sponsors, positively impacting their brand and business metrics,” said Kingshuk Mitra, Head - Ad Sales, Sports.

The show has helped in generating high ROI for the advertisers, the broadcaster said, adding that it has seen an enormous impact on the brand & business metrics because of the association with the show.

Jayen Mehta, Managing Director, Amul (GCMMF), said, “Amul is delighted to partner with Star Sports on Cricket Live, India's No.1 Show. The kind of reach and visibility the show delivers for brands is massive. Studies show that Amul is the second most recalled brand this IPL.
