Bolo Indya onboards Priyanka Jain as AVP, Communications & Campaigns Outreach
Prior to this, Jain was with ShareChat as Lead - Corporate Communications and Regional Outreach
Bolo Indya has strengthened its communication and outreach team by onboarding Priyanka Jain as AVP, Communications & Campaigns Outreach. She will be leading the Communications and Campaigns outreach for the brand for national and regional markets across 14 languages and will also look at driving users growth based on strategic brand partnerships.
Jain will be reporting to Varun Saxena, Co-Founder & CEO, Bolo Indya.
She has been working in the communications industry for over 15 years and brings in a rich experience in corporate communications and outreach. Prior to joining Bolo Indya, Jain has worked in leadership roles in leading Public Relations firms and Corporates across spectrum.
Her last role was as Lead - Corporate Communications and Regional Outreach, ShareChat. She was part of the ShareChat team for close to 3 years – 2 being with agency Perfect Relations and one on the brand side where she witnessed and had been part of ShareChat’s growth from 40mn to more than 100mn with 80% users coming from Tier 2 or 3 markets for ShareChat.
Before that, she worked with Perfect Relations as Account Director. She has also been part of PR firms like Text100, Turmac Affairs and Mutual PR.
Commenting on Jain’s appointment, Saxena said: “Happy to get Priyanka on board as she comes with a wide experience in driving strategic marketing communications consulting for technology brands and corporates in both national and regional markets. Her agility, understanding and experience in the media space is in line with Bolo Indya's mission and will help us enhance user engagement and brand partnerships.”
“We are currently ramping up the team aggressively and next few weeks will see announcements of prominent hiring across Technology, Product and Marketing roles,” added Saxena.
